Sad to find out the one in Monterrey Park which is closer to us closed. Came to this location, the original, which I've been to when it opened. Small clean contemporary space. Short wait. Staff is friendly and efficient. Food is good, hence the long drive from Long Beach. The crispy noodles were delicious and as always ordered too much food. Order the duck, it was a 45 minute wait, but worth it. A little in the fatty side but enjoyed it On the expensive side, but well worth it

The shrimp roll was chewy and shrimp size was decent. The har gow was disappointing, very small and not the same size. The seafood noodles was good. The noodles were not greasy and not too salty.

My daughter likes this location over the one in Monterey Park (inside a hotel). It gets super busy here at this location, so expect over an hour wait. Service is good, ambiance is very loud, and food is fabulous. My daughter enjoys the stir fried green beans, squid injection dumplings, and egg custards the most. I highly recommend the gizzards (I ordered that by accident, and it turned out to be my new favorite item). I am getting very lazy with reviews now, so please forgive me for not being as detailed as I used to be.

Any place with all day dim sum makes me happy. The restaurant is located where old ding tai fung used to be so the kitchen is see through glass like before. Decor of the restaurant is cozy. I love their heat lamp thing for the tea pot. Been there twice. Service was good. First time was during lunch time. Second time was at dinner. At night there are limited dim sum choices. Everything was good tho. I love the coconut jello bunnies! They are adorable! Food is pricey so I wouldn't be able to come all the time. But sometimes I can treat myself and come back another time.

Hallmarks of a Dim Sum Joint: Pushy Asians dressed head to toe in Gucci yelling the number of People in their Party to get a number to be placed on a waiting list. Rice Noodles are freshly made and the ingredients are chef's kiss. 1. Rice Noodles 2. Golden Lava Bun 3. Minced Meat Preserved Radish 4. Seafood Porridge Chef Tony is a solid place for dim sum.

Boy have I been missing out. This IS the best dim sum in LA. The variety of dim sum, the execution, and best of all the pricing. I'm so tired of paying high prices for mediocre dim sum. This is actually worth it. The space is tiny so glad we went on a weekday. They also have clay pot rice at this location but not the Monterey Park one. I'm officially a fan!

Yes, this place gets quite busy and its not very large inside. Its loud and bustling on the weekend, as to be expected. The food was very fresh and good. It was not frozen (like some other dim sum places) My favorite was the egg white egg tarts. These are hard to find now. YUMMY! I want to come back and try more dishes. Try coming during the week if you don't want to deal with waiting. Pretty large shared parking lot, and if the wait is long, you can get a snack from the neighboring establishments. ;)
